I was constantly thinking about a catchy, different name for my blog. I wanted something that wasn't too frou frou, but something that had meaning to me, so I chose the number 23 because my birthday is on the 23rd (and so is my boyfriends). Also, the 23rd Psalm was the first set of verses I memorized as a child. As for the palm - I LOVE palm trees! I just love going to the beach and seeing them line the roads. They just resemble happiness to me. The ocean, the water, the flip flops, the smell of sunscreen - I cannot wait to live at the beach someday. It will happen :)
I put the two together because to me it sounds like an address. I dream of going to New York City and hailing a cab and giving some very chic address where I need to be dropped off. "The corner of 23rd and Palm please."
As I am trying to figure out what in the world I want to do with my life, I feel as if I am turning a corner with happiness. So I am at the corner of 23rd and Palm. See you there!!
